Hey! We are Matthias and Valentina - Together we are mava! A young, creative and very motivated studio. Besides our studies we would like to offer, expand and develop our skills. We are a dynamic and proactive team that can do more than just architecture!
Matthias loves the play between computer science and architecture and is always looking to combine them in new creative ways. One of his favorite movies is "Blade Runner" by Ridley Scott because of its unique portrayal of futuristic artificial intelligence and its contemporary relevance.
Valentina likes to wield the pen and brush. She enjoys using creative thinking and new digital tools to bring ideas to life, develop innovative concepts, and combine the best of both worlds. Her favorite book is "Foundation" by Isaac Asimov, as she is captivated by innovative sci-fi narratives that consistently reflect on the future, potential human history outcomes, and the evolution of society. (And nobody does this as spectacular as Isaac Asimov)
Together we discuss current topics on e.g. housing, parametrics or digitalization and question them. We are digital natives and master our tools and are not afraid of learning new things.
This means faster and flexible processes for our customers. We create a balance between crazy, daring ideas and a realistic-critical view. In this way, we advise and accompany our customers safely and professionally until the design is implemented and working.

Proof of concept: With this project, we wanted to prove that it is possible to create a website without much prior knowledge using AI. All in less than a week's time span. Our workflow consisted of a "collaboration" between us and chatGPT, starting with our creative design, followed by code generated by the AI based on our step-by-step descriptions.
The result is this website.
This project shows that AI is a tool that can be used as an extension of our "intelligence", shifting the definition of what we are capable of and allowing us to break with conventions.
This project consisted of coding a GAN trained on voxelized 3D columns. After training the NN, the GAN produced new "types" of columns. By mixing columns with portals in the training dataset, it was possible to produce more volumetric and intriguing results.
